Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customised using an application that allows you to save maps of your home as well as set cleaning schedules and select mopping modes. They also allow you to alter suction power and fine tune the amount of water and scrubbing action your mop uses.
A mapping feature aids your robot navigate around rooms while an obstacle avoidance function helps it avoid hitting wires, furniture, or even stray pet toys. More Material are essential for my home, which is full of toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the top-of-the-line vacuum and mop, is packed with features. It’s able to both mop and sweep in one session and even lift its mop pads and brushes to prevent soft surfaces from becoming wet. It can also stay clear of obstacles by spotting pet toys, plants and other small objects.
The robot vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals which is more than any other robot vac we’ve tested up to now. It’s also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation to track its position, which helps prevent it from getting stuck on objects.
Its mopping functionality is also impressive, with the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of more than 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide a deep clean. It also features an automatic mop lifting mechanism, that will raise the pad when it transitions from tile to laminate hardwood, carpets and rugs to prevent the possibility of soaking these soft surfaces.
Additionally, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying functions. The pad can be washed and then dried with the dock, and the dust bin will get emptied and automatically returned to it. You can set it up and forget about it. You only need to refill the water tank, or replace the dust bag occasionally.
This is all powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. I ran it on its standard vac and mop settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and then return to its base to recharge. This isn’t too far from the 180 minutes Roborock claims, and is on the same level with other hybrids I’ve tested.
This is a very complete and robust product, with its only downsides being the fact that it’s costly. But, the sheer number of features makes it a appealing alternative for anyone who wishes to get rid of their old stick vacuum and mop. If you can afford the hefty price tag we recommend you check this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. Its price is justified by its robust feature set, which includes an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mops. It also comes with an app-enabled smart control system and an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros which is among the highest robotic vacuum and mop combos available. In my tests, it did very well in all areas of the home, taking out 98.4% of debris on all floors and managing to lift hair that is long without knots. The mops also performed admirably and produced excellent results for cleaning with less effort than mid-range models. This was due to their rotational movement and a strong dose cleaning solution.
However, the L10S Ultra’s most significant highlight is its docking station that is multi-functional. The docking station emptys the dustbin into a bag for dirt, fills up the water tank to use for mopping, and even dry mop pads. It also comes with a real-time hazard detection system and lets you schedule periodic cleaning sessions via its intelligent controls.
The L10S Ultra does not offer better performance for removing carpet debris in comparison to the other hybrid vacuum mops I tested. Additionally, its mops aren’t as adept at removing staining that is as strong as those in the premium Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra’s premium features, it still requires regular maintenance. To prevent mildew or unpleasant odors, the base unit dustbag, water, and tanks need to be cleaned regularly, emptied, and dried. The mop pads sold separately also need to be changed periodically.
With the L10S Ultra’s high-end cost and robust features I would recommend it to anyone who has the money for it. For those who are on a smaller budget, I would suggest a more rudimentary model that will allow you to save money while still enjoying clean hands at home. It’s important to note that even it’s true that the L10S Ultra is the best mop and robotic vacuum you can purchase however, its price and ongoing maintenance will ultimately make it more of a desire rather than a requirement.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you’re looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that can remove dust and dirt on your hard floors, while cleaning up wet mess take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This high-powered mop and robovac combo packs an impressive 8,000 Pa of suction power, an impressively large battery capacity for both vacuuming and mowing and a top-of-the-line obstacle-avoiding. It even comes with mop rollers that clean itself as it moves, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-clean in order to rinse off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is a departure from the spinning discs and microfibre pads found in other robots. The roller covers the entire length of the bot and is constantly filled with clean, ozonated water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while collecting dirt. Dry debris is removed using the side brushes or swept into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro removes the mop water that is dirty into its base station where it is sucked by the tank’s heater elements and emptied into a larger storage container. The tank that is onboard can hold a good amount of water and can handle up to half a dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box as do most robotic vacuums/mops. The S1 Pro does need to be refilled with clean water. This is easily done using the cleaning dock. If you’d like to use your own cleaner you can include a cleaning solution to dock. If you decide to choose to use this feature you’ll have to purchase the cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your personal cleaning products.
As with most robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was quick to map a room, and it was able to navigate through furniture. The only issue is that it got stuck a couple of times on larger pile carpets and rugs in my tests however this can be fixed as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very robust robot that is available at a reasonable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry level mop and vacuum, but it still has some outstanding features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot’s dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, washing and sanitizing mop pads as they go. The mopping system can be able to clean a large area prior to returning to its dock. The vacuum’s powerful suction is ideal for removing pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.
The application that runs the appliance is quite dense, and offers many options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually initiate an entire map and take care to clean everything that is that is mapped by the device or you can choose particular rooms, expandable zones, or even a schedule you’ve crafted. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It utilizes the sensors on the mops to map the area and determine the most efficient method to clean it.
Like all the Roborock models we’ve evaluated like all the Roborock models we’ve tested, the Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system is reliable, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a neat way. Its “Normal” pathing settings cover a room well, without any major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too however it’s not as advanced as the color camera system found on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as thick carpets but may not be able detect smaller objects such as rug tassels and electrical wires.
This device has a major flaw: it does not offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum a lot before using their robot. Thankfully, there’s an easy solution: the app offers an option to “clean up” at the end of every vacuuming session. This allows you to use the vacuum’s mopping capability to remove the last remnants of dust and debris that you’ve left behind from the vacuuming. This is a nice feature that can help this robot to clean up a bit better than its competitors with lower prices.
