79% after 10 000 GCD cycles. The ZnS-Ni7S6/Ni(OH)2 core/shell hybrid electrode material has helped in promoting an asymmetric supercapacitor device with an elevated performance and can be considered as a potential electrode material to develop energy storage devices in the future. The buildup of pressure drop with mass loading of particles aggravates the breathing resistance and energy consumption of filters. MGCD265 This study investigated the role of intra- and interlayer space of filter media on the pressure drop development with continued particle loading. Five basic morphologies, including microfibers, nanofibers, microbeads-on-strings, and a mix of those morphologies were fabricated via electrospinning. Then the variations of layered constructions were made, to include a total 14 different filter structures. For a single layer filter media, the pore size rather than the percent porosity had a major impact on the pressure drop. For dual layers, the space between the layers and the placement order of webs were important factors affecting the pressure drop and depth loading of particles. Computational modeling was used to interpret the role of the interlayer space on the pressure drop, by monitoring the air flow and particle movement within the filter constructions, where the computational prediction corresponded to the tendency of the experimental findings. The novelty of this study lies in the combined approach of the experimental and computational work to understand the particle capture phenomenon during the mass loading.Iodine, a key constituent of thyroid hormones, plays an indirect role in prenatal and postnatal growth. This study aimed to investigate whether breast milk iodine concentration (BMIC) is associated with growth- and obesity-related hormones and subsequently the infants’ anthropometric measures. In present study conducted in Tehran (Iran), 94 lactating mothers and healthy infants who were exclusively breastfed were included. Concentrations of iodine, insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1), adiponectin (AD) and leptin (LP) were measured in breast milk samples collected during 3- to 5-day postpartum. Anthropometric measures of infants were assessed at 6 months of life, and age- and sex-specific z-score values were calculated using the World Health Organization growth standards. The median (interquartile range) iodine, IGF-1, AD and LP concentrations were 232.5 (157.5-296.0) μg L-1 , 15.7 (11.9-21.1) ng ml-1 , 13.2 (5.1-29.8) mg L-1 and 1.16 (0.86-1.70) ng ml-1 in breast milk, respectively. No significant correlations were found between BMIC and IGF-1, AD and LP concentrations during the first few days postpartum. In adjusted regression model, BMIC was positively associated with weight-for-length z score of infants. In the presence of IGF-1, AD or LP, the coefficients of BMIC for weight-for-length z score of infants were β = .003 (P = .021), β = .002 (P = .028) or β = .003 (P = .013), respectively. No other anthropometric measurements were associated with iodine or growth- and obesity-related hormones in breast milk. Our findings indicate that BMIC is a potential contributor to infants’ growth status, independent of IGF-1, AD or LP concentrations in breast milk. The underlying mechanisms remain to be elucidated.
This paper describes the theory and development of Take it personal! an indicated prevention programme aimed at reducing substance use in individuals with mild intellectual disabilities and borderline intellectual functioning.
The process of the development of Take it personal! followed the steps of the Intervention Mapping protocol. Take it personal! is based on the theory that personality traits are an important construct to understand substance use (14-30years old). A small modelling study was conducted with six adolescents to examine the feasibility, user-friendliness and potential effectiveness of the intervention.
The results showed that the intervention has good feasibility and user-friendliness. Post-intervention evaluation of frequency, binge drinking and problematic use indicated that use was lower than at pre-intervention.
Take it Personal! can be a promising preventive intervention designed to reduce substance use in individuals in this target group. A larger scale study is needed to draw further conclusions.

To cope, viruses evolved multiple anti-CRISPR proteins, which can inhibit system function through various mechanisms. Although the structures and mechanisms of several anti-CRISPR proteins have been elucidated, those of the AcrIF9 family have not yet been identified. To understand the molecular basis underlying AcrIF9 anti-CRISPR function, we determined the 1.2 Å crystal structure of AcrIF9. Structural and biochemical studies showed that AcrIF9 exists in monomeric form in solution and can directly interact with DNA using a positively charged cleft. Based on analysis of the structure, we suggest part of the anti-CRISPR molecular mechanism by AcrIF9.Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the most fatal cancers with highly invasive properties. The progression of CRC is determined by the driving force of periostin (PN) from cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) in the tumour microenvironment. This present work aims to investigate autophagy-mediated CRC invasion via the receptor integrin (ITG) by PN. The level of PN in 410 clinical CRC tissues was found increased and was an independent poor prognosis marker (HR = 2.578, 95% CI = 1.218-5.457, P-value = .013) with a significant correlation with overall survival time (P-value less then .001). PN activated proliferation, migration and invasion of CRC cells, but with reduced autophagy. Interestingly, the reduction of LC3 autophagic protein corresponded to the increased ability of CRC cell migration. The siITGα5-treated HT-29 and siITGβ4-treated HCT-116 CRC cells attenuated epithelial-to-mesenchymal transitions (EMT)-related genes and pAKT compared with those in siITG-untreated cells. The reduction of pAKT by a PI3K inhibitor significantly restored autophagy in CRC cells.
