Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customized with an app that can save maps of your home, set cleaning schedules and select mopping options. You can also alter the suction power and fine-tune how much water and scrub action your mop makes use of.
A mapping feature helps your robot navigate around rooms, while an obstacle avoidance function helps it avoid hitting wires, furniture, or even stray pet toys. These are essential features to have in my home, which is filled with toys scattered around.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the flagship vacuum of the company and mop, comes packed with features. It’s able to both sweep and mop in one session, and it can even raise its brushes and mop pads to stop soft surfaces from becoming too damp. It also can detect and avoid obstacles, with the ability to recognize pet toys plants, small objects.
The robotic vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is higher than any other robot vac we’ve tested. It also has PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its location, preventing it becoming stuck on objects.
Its mopping functionality is also impressive and the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply constant pressure of over 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide a deep clean. It also has mop lifter technology that will lift the pad automatically when it is able to switch between tile, laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs, in order to avoid soaking soft surfaces.
In addition, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be used for rinsing and heat-drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. This means that you can set it and forget it, only needing to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank occasionally.
All this is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard mop and vac-settings for approximately 160 minutes before it began to lose power and returned to its base to recharge. This isn’t that far from the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is on the same level as other hybrids I’ve tried.
This is a highly robust and well-rounded product with the only drawback being the fact that it’s pricey. But its abundance of features makes it a tempting option for anyone who wants to ditch their old stick vacuums and mops. If you are able to justify the hefty price tag, we highly recommend checking this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop combination. Its high-end price is justified by its powerful features, which include a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mops. It comes with an app-enabled smart control system and an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combinations out there with a suggested retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed well throughout the home. It removed 98.4% debris on any type of floor and was able to lift long hair without tangling. The mops were also excellent, achieving great cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models, thanks to their rotational motion and the powerful cleaning solution.
The L10S Ultra’s real selling point is its advanced multifunctional docking station. The dock emptys its dust bin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank for mopping and dry its mop pads for you. It has a real-time hazards detection system, and its sophisticated controls allow you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions.
The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance when compared to the other hybrid vacuum mop I tried. The mops on the L10S Ultra are not as effective at removing stubborn staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra’s many premium features, it requires regular maintenance and care. To avoid mildew and unpleasant odors, the base unit dustbag, water, and tanks need to be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly. It is also important to remember that the mop pads, which are bought separately are required to be replaced regularly too.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the budget. For those who are on a smaller budget, I suggest considering a less basic model that allows you to save money while enjoying clean hands at home. Even even if the L10S Ultra was the best vacuum and robotic mop you could buy, its high cost and constant maintenance will make it seem more an option than a necessity.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you’re looking for a robot mop and vacuum that will remove dust and dirt on your hard floors while taking care of wet messes take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac and mop combo packs an impressive suction power of 8,000 Pa as well as a massive battery capacity for both mowing and vacuuming, and top-notch obstacles-avoiding. It even comes with an automatic mop that cleans itself as it moves, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-clean to rinse off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a major contrast to the microfiber pads and spinning discs used in other robots. The roller is almost entire width of the robot and is constantly filled with ozonated, clean water from its dock. While it spins the roller, it scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes or swept away into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro dumps dirty mop water in its base station where it is sucked by the tank’s heater elements, and then empty into a larger storage container. The onboard tank holds a decent amount of water and can manage about a dozen mopping sessions before going dry.
As with most robotic vacuums and mop sets The S1 Pro is ready to come out from the box. It will need to be filled with clean water, but this is simple to do by cleaning the dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock in case you want to have the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you choose this feature however, you’ll have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution that is more expensive than other robot brands allowing users to select their own choice of cleaning products.
Like most robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in accuracy in navigation and coverage tests. It was quick to map a area and navigated around furniture. It was stuck on carpets with longer piles a couple of times during my tests. However it could be improved by updating the software. best robot vacuum cleaner is a very capable all-in-one robot for an affordable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level mop and vacuum cleaner but it does have some outstanding features. The dock’s multi-function function is emptying the robot’s dirtbag, refilling its water tanks, and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is done by the dock. The mopping system is able to be able to clean a large area prior to returning to its dock. The vacuum’s powerful suction is great for picking up pet hair and debris on carpets.
The software that runs the appliance is quite dense, with a wide range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually clean the entire area that are mapped by this device, or select individual rooms, zones that can be expanded, or a custom routine you’ve designed. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It utilizes the sensors on the mop to map the space and determine the most efficient way to clean it.
The Qrevo did well in our tests, just as all Roborock models we’ve tested. Its navigation system is efficient in locating rooms quickly and cleaning them in a well-organized manner. Its ‘Normal’ pathing setting does an excellent job of covering a space, with no gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too although it’s not as advanced as the color camera system on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify hazards such as thick carpets however it won’t always detect small things like rug tassels or electrical wires.
One of the biggest flaws of this machine is the lack of a mop-after-vacuum option which could be an issue for people who spend a lot of time vacuuming prior to cleaning with their robot. Thankfully, there’s an easy workaround: the app includes an option to “clean up” at the end of every vacuuming session. The vacuum’s mopping capabilities to remove the last traces and dust that were left behind after vacuuming. It’s a nice touch and can help this robot get rid of a bit better than its cheaper rivals.
